M.O.V.E - Moments of Voluntary Expression

Movement based performance created by artists with disabilities lacks a method that puts the artist at the centre. Jan Derbyshire and Tara Cheyenne have been developing MOVE, an innovative person-led creative process

Through a series of workshops, ensemble members from the participating companies, MoMo in Calgary and CRIPSiE in Edmonton as well as participants in Vancouver, have innovated this new person-led movement process. TCP will be advancing the method and creating work with MOVE participants throughout the 2017/18 season.

Tara Cheyenne Friedenberg tells it like it is.
